Chevrolet Complete Care is Chevy’s new commitment to providing owners with the excellent service and support that they would come to expect from Chevrolet. This brand new comprehensive coverage enhances the overall ease of owning and driving a Chevrolet vehicle.
WHAT IS IT?
Chevrolet Complete Care is available with the purchase or lease of an all new 2014 Chevrolet model and consists of 2 years/24,000 miles of included scheduled maintenance, 5 years/100,000 miles of 24-hour Roadside assistance, 5 years/100,000 miles of Courtesy transportation, warranties, Onstar® for six months on most Chevrolet vehicles, and Onstar RemoteLink Key Fob services4 on most Chevrolet vehicles.
Chevrolet Complete Care provides scheduled maintenance to their customers for the first two years or 24, 000 miles (whichever comes first) of ownership of their 2014 Chevrolet. The categories which fall under maintenance during the two year or 24,000 mile duration are oil and filters changes, 4 wheel tire rotations, and a 27 point vehicle inspection.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND COURTESY TRANSPORTATION
The response, security, and convenience of 24-hour Roadside Assistance for 5 years or 100,000 miles (8 years o 100,000 miles for Volt), whichever comes first. The categories which fall under this part of the program are 24/7 toll-free phone assistance, emergency towing to the closest Chevrolet dealer (from a legal roadway), flat-tire change (using the vehicle's spare or tire inflator kit), battery jump-start (at home or on the road), vehicle unlock service (costs for a new key and the labor to create not covered), emergency fuel delivery (up to $5 worth of fuel delivered on the road), courtesy transportation and/or reimbursement of certain transportation expenses if a vehicle requires warranty repairs.
Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty covers most Chevrolet vehicles registered in the U.S. and Canada from the date the vehicle is first delivered until it reaches 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. This includes bumper-to-bumper coverage on any vehicle defect related to materials or workmanship. Original tires are covered, but prorated after 12,000 miles during the terms of the Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty
Powertrain Limited Warranty, in addition to the 3-year/36,000 mile protection, many of the vehicle's powertrain components are protected even further with coverage extending to 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. This warranty includes engine, transmission/transaxle, transfer case, drive systems, and emission control systems.
GM vehicles are designed and built to resist corrosion. All body and sheet metal components are warranted against rust-through corrosion for a minimum of 6 years/100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Application of additional rust-inhibiting materials is not required under the corrosion coverage and none is recommended.
Keeping drivers safe, secure and connected with the OnStar Directions & Connections plan (six-month trial on most Chevrolet vehicles).
Automatic Crash Response: A specially trained emergency Advisor is connected to the vehicle the moment a crash is detected.
Emergency Services: Drivers can simply press the red button and they're instantly connected to an Advisor who can contact Emergency Reponse.
Hand-Free Calling: To keep drivers connected, even when their cell phone cannot.
Stolen Vehicle Assistance: If the vehicle is stolen, OnStar works with the authorities to attempt to recover it swiftly and safely.
Vehicle Diagnostics: Every month, OnStar automatically runs hundreds of diagnostic and maintenance checks on the vehicle's key operating systems
Turn-By-Turn Navigation: Drivers can push a button for directions they've saved with eNav or speak directly with an OnStar advisor.
OnStar RemoteLink Key Fob Services
Available on most Chevrolet vehicles, it is a subset of the RemoteLink app capabilities, giving customers access to features such as Remote Start, locking and unlocking - even when they're miles away from their vehicle. It's now included for five years after retail purchase, with or without a paid OnStar subscription. This includes unlocking doors remotely if the keys are locked inside or in emergencies (requires automatic door locks), remotely start or turn off the car (requires factory-installed and enabled Remote Start), activate the vehicle's horns and lights to help locate it in a crowded parking lot.
