It can also automatically apply the brakes in the event of an emergency to avoid an accident or reduce impact speed. A similar system is emplaced with the Side Blind Zone Alert system , which illuminates small LED symbols in the corresponding side mirrors when a vehicle is detected along side of the driver. The 2014 can even keep an eye on drivers themselves with the available Lane Departure Warning that alerts the driver if they unintentionally drift outside of their lane without using a turn signal, help keeping you safely on the road.
