Chevrolet has put a lot of time and thought into the complete redesign of the Silverado; of course, each model is different so we are going to be looking at the general redesign of this truck line.
The all new 2014 has a chrome grille and one-piece bumper to make a bold entrance to whatever scene you’re going to. A taller dual power dome hood gives this redesign a much more aggressive look and adds to the overall aerodynamics. The pickup box has a new design which gives it easier access and loading thanks to pocket handgrips that have been added to the side. A rear bumper step and bedrail caps have been added for easier access with available under rail lighting which makes things easier for night time use. With the addition of a steel bed for durability, the 2014 Silverado is able to handle any job you can throw at it.
Larger doors have been added to the crew cab and extended cab model making it easier to get in and out of the back as well as easier loading to and from the back seat. New power sliding windows that include their own defroster are available for the 2014, making it easier to clear your car on those cold early winter mornings. A 5’8”,6’6” and 8’ box is available depending on the size of the cab of the truck. To help organize your cargo the way you want, there are four standard low tie-downs and four additional available upper tie-downs.
